How to “clean-up” table EventCUD in MSDyn365FO

I recently found the table EventCUD as one of the biggest tables in one of our implementation projects for Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operation. The customer is not using alerts at all, so the table EventCUD is simply growing and growing.

To get rid of the round about 800k records I filed a request to the DSE teams to truncate the whole table. After this action I scheduled the batch job for change based alerts to be expected every hour, to run all necessary actions for the records in the table, including the delete of the records.

What is your schedule for the processing of change based alerts?
